Library
Everything the solar industry hopes you never learn — free.
Our Library is a growing collection of videos, PDFs, and plain-English articles covering solar PV systems in Australia. It covers topics such as how systems are designed, how they work, what different classes of systems are designed for, and what you need to know as you search for the right solution for you. It’s written by qualified solar installers and electricians, not by marketers.
Most solar “education” online is a lead-capture funnel dressed up as advice — written to sell you something you may not even need. The Library gives you a way to read, watch and research at your own pace. It is updated regularly so stop in and see what is new.
Solar Assistant
Data-driven solar answers in seconds, not sales pitches.
The Solar Assistant is an AI system trained on current products, design methods, installation rules, and Australian compliance data. Ask it anything — sizing, batteries, off-grid, rebates, standards — and get accurate answers in plain language.
Almost every conversation you have regarding solar is with someone who is trying to sell you something. Our Solar Assistant tool is trained on the same information and design principles as solar installers, but is not here to sell you anything. It isn’t trying to sell you anything.
Find an installer
Don’t just trust a Google search
Before a business is listed we sight its electrical licence, insurance and accreditation, and we re-check them annually. We don’t rank installers and we don’t take lead fees — you look through the listings and decide who to contact.
We provide the listing, you look through them and select the ones you want to contact. Search by map or by licence type to find accredited installers who service your area and system type.
When you are ready to find a listed solar installer, the directory is part of your full access — there is nothing extra to buy.
My Solar
Your exact gear, your exact fault code, explained.
Set up your new or existing system and we will put together all of the information available about your products, their diagnostics and known issues or latest releases. Then, if you ever have an issue with your system, just ask the Solar Assistant and it will walk you through what to do next.
Normally a fault or a question will cost you an electrician coming out to site just to take a look. Now you can just ask SG Nexus Solar and you may not even need to spend the money to get a tradesperson out at all… if you can even find one.
